Philadelphia Eagles running back Darren Sproles (MCL sprain) looks like a good bet to play against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 8, according to CSN Philadelphia's Geoff Mosher. Sproles was originally expected to miss as many as two games following the team's Week 6 bye.
Darren Sproles feeling good, setting sights on return to fantasy lineups
The Eagles’ running back is ahead of schedule on his injury timetable. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: When the Eagles acquired Sproles from the New Orleans Saints via trade this offseason, it wasn't viewed as a big splash. However, the sneaky and elusive Sproles started the season off with a bang and found himself a prominent fantasy contributor in coach Chip Kelly's offense.
He's a good pass catcher and seems to find ways to gain yards and produce electrifying highlights earlier in the season, drastically outplaying LeSean McCoy.
That said, McCoy put together his first 100-yard rushing performance of the season against the New York Giants in Week 5 and is still out-touching Sproles by an almost 3-to-1 margin in recent weeks.
Fantasy owners can expect to start Sproles this week, but it looks like his touches will always come second to McCoy’s no matter what the circumstances may be.
