Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush (ankle) was limited in practice on Wednesday, but is expected to play against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 8, according to Lions senior writer Tim Twentymen. Bush totaled just 32 yards on nine touches against the New Orleans Saints in Week 7.
Reggie Bush expected to play in Week 8; fantasy owners can use him
The Lions’ veteran running back is battling injuries but ready to play in the team’s game against the Falcons in London. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Although Bush was able to play against the Saints, he was used sparingly in the second half. He should be in better shape against the Falcons now that his ankle has had a bit more rest, but teammate Joique Bell will probably be more effective on Sunday.
It’s kind of unfortunate considering how generous the Falcons have been to opposing offenses this season. It’s tough to know what the Lions are really going to get out of a hobbled and jet-lagged Bush, but he is versatile and still capable of contributing when he is feeling good.
Fantasy owners can go ahead and use Bush in Week 8, but keep in mind he has yet to eclipse 61 yards rushing in a game this season.
