San Diego Chargers running back Donald Brown (concussion) has been ruled out of the team's Week 8 matchup against the Denver Broncos, according to Rotoworld.com. With Ryan Mathews (MCL sprain) also out, rookie Branden Oliver is in line to make his third straight start.
Donald Brown, Ryan Mathews will not play in Week 8, Branden Oliver will continue to reward fantasy owners
The Chargers’ running back will remain on the sidelines against the Denver Broncos in Week 8. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Brown was barely able to muster more than two yards a carry in the three games he played a featured role in before being knocked out of action in Week 5. He had an opportunity to earn a starting job with the Indianapolis Colts and seems to be settled in as a career backup.
Ryan Mathews on the other hand hasn’t played since Week 2 and isn’t expected back until after the team’s Week 10 bye. That leaves the undrafted rookie Oliver to continue handling feature back duties for the team. He’s looked small, quick, stocky and productive in his short time as a starting back so far.
Oliver will be worth starting against the Broncos, a team that doesn’t have a problem giving up fantasy points to running backs.
