San Diego Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen hasn't been nearly as good as advertised this season. He's caught just 34 passes for 354 yards with no touchdowns. Keep in mind, the two players above him -- Malcom Floyd and Antonio Gates -- have 10 touchdowns combined.
Fantasy football sit/start advice, Week 8: Keenan Allen
Allen has been decent, but not great this season. Can he rebound from a fantasy perspective?

Obviously, that hasn't resulted in a stellar fantasy season. Allen has played in every game this year and has only had one big performance -- 135 yards against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Allen does have one thing going for him though: he's been getting plenty of playing time and targets. Against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 7, Allen saw 10 targets and caught six passes for 58 yards.
Fantasy Impact: The Denver Broncos are San Diego's Week 8 opponent on Thursday. They're not especially good at defending the pass, as they rank 18th in the league with 242.5 passing yards allowed per game. But Allen is not the first option for Philip Rivers, or even the second option. San Diego's passing game is stellar, but Allen is quickly being written off as a fantasy option. He may be worth a flex start at this point, but it's likely his last chance if he doesn't come up big this week.
