San Diego Chargers wide receiver Malcom Floyd has been much better than advertised this season, but he could be in for a tough game on Thursday against the Denver Broncos. Floyd has made some hug catches, as evidenced by the fact that he leads the Chargers in yardage despite being fourth on the team in receptions. He's got 20 receptions for 412 yards and a three touchdowns -- that's an average of 20.6 yards per reception.
Fantasy football sit/start advice, Week 8: Malcom Floyd
Malcom Floyd has been excellent this season, but he faces a tough matchup against the Denver Broncos on Thursday.

Floyd, a nine-year veteran of the NFL, is well on his way to his best season yet. He's been kind to fantasy owners thus far, with a couple big games in recent weeks. He had five receptions for 103 yards and a touchdown against the Oakland Raiders in Week 6, but came back down the Earth with three receptions for 50 yards in Week 7.
Fantasy Impact: Floyd remains a strong fantasy performer, however. Fantasy owners likely got him for next to nothing and he's paying off in spades. That said, he'll see a lot of Chris Harris and Aqib Talib on Thursday against the Broncos, and that's a tough matchup to draw. Both corners are excellent on the outside and this isn't necessarily a particularly attractive fantasy matchup.
Fantasy owners can start him for lack of better options, but those with a deep group of receivers should probably look elsewhere this week.
