Gates has been solid this season and there’s no reason to suspect that’s not going to continue against the Denver Broncos in Week 8.

Gates has been on fire with seven touchdowns through seven games, and he's second on the Chargers in receiving yards with 363 on 27 receptions. He's behind Malcom Floyd in receiving yardage, but Floyd has just three touchdowns. On Thursday, the Chargers will take on the Denver Broncos and Gates is eying another big game. Denver has some injuries in the middle of its defense and the Broncos have not been particularly good at stopping tight ends this season.
Fantasy Impact: All indications are that Gates is in for another big game. The Broncos allow the 13th-most receiving yards to tight ends, which isn’t the worst by any means, but Gates is exactly the kind of guy to force them into another bad day. He’s a must-start for fantasy owners any week, but especially here in Week 8.
