After a solid start to his season, San Diego Chargers wide receiver Eddie Royal has had a string of bad games and it doesn't look as though there's much relief in sight. Royal has always been a receiver who gets out to a fast start and disappears as the season progresses and that's not any different this year. After 69 yards in Week 2 and 105 yards in Week 4, Royal has posted yardage totals of 40, 49 and 20 yards in his past three outings.
Fantasy football sit/start advice, Week 8: Eddie Royal
Royal has been solid this season, but his production is dropping off.

On the season, he has 23 receptions for 345 yards and five touchdowns. He has more touchdowns than the team's leading receiver, Malcom Floyd, but his targets are bottoming out and there's not much hope of his production increasing in the coming weeks.
Fantasy Impact: That makes it hard to recommend him against Royal's former team, the Denver Broncos. Quarterback Philip Rivers is throwing the ball well and San DIego has one of the most productive passing offenses in the NFL, but Royal's importance in that offense is declining. He's benefited occasionally from other guys drawing coverage, but he's not a smart start against a solid Denver defense.
