Philadelphia Eagles running back Darren Sproles was limited in practice for the second day in a row on Thursay. Sproles is recovering from a sprained MCL and is tentatively expected to make his return against the Arizona Cardinals.
Darren Sproles limited in Thursday’s practice, on track for fantasy return
Sproles is still limited in practice and has a shot at returning in Week 8. We break down the fantasy implications.

Sproles suffered the knee injury in Week 6 against the New York Giants. He's had the bye week to rest up and now appears likely to play, putting him at the front of the typical 2-3 week timetable for MCL injuries of this sort. Sproles has 211 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 32 carries this season, adding 16 receptions for an additional 198 yards.
Fantasy impact: Even if Sproles is active, don’t expect him to have a big role at less than 100 percent. The 31-year-old has been quiet since his big Week 2 performance and his sell-high window has already closed in fantasy. Sproles is no more than a desperation flex play at this point and isn’t a must-own player in 10-team leagues.
