The Detroit Lions are in trouble at tight end. Eric Ebron (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 8 against the Atlanta Falcons. Joseph Fauria has also been ruled out due to his ankle injury, and Brandon Pettigrew is doubtful for the game, as well.
Eric Ebron won’t play on Sunday for owners in deep fantasy leagues
Lions tight end Eric Ebron is out for Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

OK, so now what? The next guys on the depth chart are Kellen Davis and Jordan Thompson. In other words, the Lions are not going to get a lot of production from their tight end spot.
On top of that, running back Reggie Bush and receiver Calvin Johnson are not expected to play. That means it's going to be a lot of running back Joique Bell and receiver Golden Tate.
Fantasy impact: You can probably drop Ebron at this point even in your deep league. The main fantasy impact in standard leagues is that you have to put Bell and Tate in your lineups this week.
