With Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller out for an extended period of time, the keys to the backfield have been handed to Anthony Dixon and Bryce Brown, with the former getting first-team reps in practice.
Fantasy football start/sit advice Week 8: Anthony Dixon
The Bills’ backfield saw quite the shakeup in Week 7 after losing Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller. Is it Anthony Dixon time in Buffalo? We break down the fantasy implications.

Though Dixon is ahead of Brown on the depth chart, that doesn't mean he'll monopolize the Buffalo Bills' backfield. According to Dixon himself, the team will likely use a committee approach.
Fantasy Spin: Of course, a committee approach just means both will be involved. The extent to which is unknown, however. Dixon’s history doesn’t suggest he’s anything more than a plodding back with a career yards-per-carry average under 4.0.
That said, Dixon is worth a stash while the Bills sort out how they want to use their tandem. Only desperate fantasy owners would start Dixon vs. a stout New York Jets run defense, however. Brown is the preferred add of the two, but should Dixon get an encouraging volume in Week 8, he'll be in play for future weeks.
