Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden was known in the fantasy community as a boom-or-bust back over the years given his proneness to injury.
Fantasy football start/sit advice Week 8: Darren McFadden
The Raiders’ veteran back draws a great matchup this week. We break down the fantasy implications.

But in 2014, he’s been gutting-out solid, yet unspectacular, performances while proving a long-awaited durability as the first half of the season nears. McFadden is on pace for 978 total yards and five scores, which would be the second-highest single-season totals over his career.
Fantasy Spin: This week, McFadden gets to face a Cleveland Browns defense that just allowed 122 rushing yards to Denard Robinson and a Jacksonville Jaguars offense that has gotten nothing on the ground all season. The Browns have been gutted with injuries up front, and have only once allowed fewer than 100 rushing yards to opposing running backs.
McFadden is now in line to be the next back to cash in. With his encouraging usage this season, he deserves flex consideration in leagues across the board.
