Fantasy football projections, Week 8: Vikings-Buccaneers featuring Jerick McKinnon, Teddy Bridgewater and Vincent Jackson
We break down the Week 8 matchup between Minnesota and Tampa Bay.

Minnesota Vikings
Running back Jerick McKinnon posted his second career 100-yard rushing game against the Buffalo Bills in Week 7. He's clearly taken over as the team's top rusher over veteran teammate Matt Asiata at this point, which has been expected for weeks given the explosiveness of the rookie. McKinnon will be counted on a lot moving forward and the Buccaneers have been relatively friendly in terms of giving up points to fantasy rushers. McKinnon's owners shouldn't be surprised to see him find the end zone in Tampa Bay in Week 8.
When the Vikings go to the air, quarterback Teddy Bridgewater will probably see some big numbers. The Buccaneers give up the second-most fantasy points to quarterbacks of any defense in the league at the moment. Although Bridgewater has thrown five interceptions in the last two weeks, he was really good in his NFL debut against the Atlanta Falcons. All signs point to Bridgewater putting together a fantastic bounce-back performance against the Bucs, and doing so could make him a top fantasy sleeper in Week 8.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Although wide receiver Vincent Jackson has only had more than 66 yards receiving once this season, there should be optimism among his fantasy owners given how much he's been targeted over the last three weeks. V-Jax has seen no less than 35 passes come his way over that stretch, including a season-high 13 going back to Week 6 against the Baltimore Ravens. Even though the Bucs are one of the league's worst teams, there's still lots of value to be had for Jackson's fantasy owners this week and throughout the rest of the season.
It certainly helps that quarterback Mike Glennon loves his number one receiver. Glennon threw for 314 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in the team's Week 6 loss to the Ravens. He's done an OK job putting up fantasy stats since taking over for Josh McCown, but neither quarterback has quite looked like a member of the elite this season. Glennon will have to be good against a steady Vikings secondary if the team is to pick up its second win of the season.
