Frank Gore, Rashad Jennings, Carlos Hyde, and to a lesser extent, Andre Williams, are all on bye and you're searching for suitable replacements, right? Well, look no further than out list of Week 8 running back sleepers. A few of these names might even be available on the wire.
Fantasy football sleepers, Week 8: Running Backs
It might look like some fantasy football edition of The Walking Dead, but that certainly isn’t the case as Justin Forsett, Darren McFadden, and a few others are alive and ready to contribute in Week 8.

Justin Forsett - Though Bernard Pierce has continued to vulture the goal line touchdowns, Forsett remains one of only three running backs that have scored at least six fantasy points in every game this season. This week, Forsett benefits from facing a Cincinnati Bengals defense that has allowed the third-most yards per carry. Start him with confidence in any format, daily leagues included.
Darren McFadden - Over the past few weeks, the Oakland Raiders have quietly faded out both Maurice Jones-Drew and Latavius Murray, all the while giving McFadden 18-20 touches per game. Those opportunities will certainly come in handy on Sunday as the Raiders square off against a Cleveland Browns defense that has allowed opposing running backs to average five yards per carry. Consider McFadden a high-end RB2, as well as an off-the-radar play in your daily fantasy lineups.
Mark Ingram/Travaris Cadet - Once Pierre Thomas left last week's game agains the Detroit Lions, Mark Ingram took over and immediately received a bulk of the work. With Thomas and Khiry Robinson already declared out for Sunday, Ingram should thrive in Standard leagues. Cadet, however, might be the better option in PPR leagues. After all, during the 20 snaps he lined up in the backfield, the New Orleans Saints passed in each of them. Both will produce, it's just a matter of tailoring towards your settings.
