Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz arguably offers as much upside as any tight end in the league. The issue is that he's stuck behind Brent Celek on the depth chart. The result has been Ertz playing in roughly 50 percent of the snaps. Similar to Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, Ertz has the talent but doesn't see enough targets to support the elite production that he's capable of. He hasn't had more than 47 yards receiving in any of his last four games and hasn't hauled in more than four passes in any game this year.
Fantasy start/sit advice, Week 8: Zach Ertz a risky TE play
Zach Ertz has struggled for consistency. Can he step it up in Week 8?

Fantasy Impact: Ertz has an ideal matchup in the Arizona Cardinals and their defense, which gives up the eighth-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends. However, if his usage remains the same, there is little reason to expect increased production. Ertz will continue to be a low-end TE1 until the Eagles can find a way to keep him on the field for more than half the time.
