It seems as though Eagles running back Darren Sproles will be lucky to avoid an inactive status on Sunday as he recovers from an MCL injury. Even if Sproles does play, he'll likely see a limited workload and play at less than 100 percent. He did participate in practice this week, but was limited, so it's hard to envision him seeing much work against the Arizona Cardinals.
Darren Sproles injury update: Eagles RB is possibly inactive, fantasy owners should avoid
Even if Darren Sproles suits up, fantasy owners should avoid his limited opportunities in Week 8.

Fantasy impact: Sproles really hasn't seen much production since Week 2, so fantasy owners are likely holding him out of Sunday's contest. Even in desperation, this is a situation to avoid. He hasn't been a huge part of the Eagles' game plan for the past month, and there's no reason to suggest things will change considering his health concerns. To make matters worse, the Cardinals have been tough on opposing running backs in fantasy football. There are just too many factors working against Sproles' owners right now.
