Sometimes, playing the New York Jets can really be the cure for what ails you. The Buffalo Bills, who hadn't put up more than 29 points in a game all season -- and more than 23 only once -- scored 43 points Sunday in a dominant 43-23 win over the Jets.
Kyle Orton, Sammy Watkins have huge fantasy days in Bills’ win
The Buffalo quarterback had a huge game as the team improved to 5-3. We break down the fantasy implications.

The win brought the Bills to 5-3, only a game back of the New England Patriots for first place in the AFC East. They've won three of four since falling to 2-2 and switching quarterbacks.
Let’s look at the fantasy performances from the game:
Kyle Orton: The following chart shows the game-by-game passing attempts and touchdown passes for Orton since taking over as the Bills' starter:
| Pass Attempts | Touchdown Passes |
| 43 | 1 |
| 38 | 2 |
| 43 | 2 |
| 17 | 4 |
In other words, it’s really nice for a quarterback to go against the awful Jets pass defense. Orton completed 10 of those 17 attempts for 238 yards. He had a passer rating of 142.8, and put up 25 fantasy points. He won’t get to face the Jets every week, but Orton has put himself firmly in the QB2 field.
Bryce Brown, Anthony Dixon: All week long, the debate was over which Buffalo running back you'd want, after C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson were lost to injury in Week 7. The answer turned out to be neither of them, basically. Dixon was more productive than Brown, with 44 rushing yards, but with 22 carries and 2.0 yards per carry, he wasn't special. Brown was downright awful, with 15 rushing yards on seven carries. The backs can blame some of their struggles on a stout Jets run defense, but with a Week 9 bye and the possibility of Jackson's return in Week 10, neither guy is someone fantasy owners need to hold on to.
Sammy Watkins: It was a clear case of quality over quantity for the rookie receiver Sunday. Watkins caught only three passes -- after a career-high nine a week ago -- but went for 157 yards and a touchdown on those catches, including a 61-yard score and an 84-yard catch that should have been a touchdown if he hadn't started celebrating too early and been caught from behind. Watkins is right in the WR2 mix, and should be a fantasy starter most weeks.
Scott Chandler: The tight end caught only one pass Sunday for 12 yards, but it went for his first touchdown of the season. He remains pretty far from fantasy starter territory.
