The Carolina Panthers couldn't manage a touchdown Sunday. The team kicked three field goals en route to a 13-9 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
Fantasy football recap: Kelvin Benjamin, Jonathan Stewart accumulate yardage as Carolina falls
Carolina couldn’t score Sunday, but the team’s top receiver and running back both had a fair amount of yards. We break down the fantasy implications.

The Panthers started the season 2-0, but have only won one game since and now sit at 3-4-1, right up at the top of the NFC South because of the division's general terribleness. The Panthers play the New Orleans Saints and Philadelphia Eagles the next two weeks, needing to get something going eventually.
Let’s take a look at what fantasy production there was for Carolina Sunday:
Cam Newton: That game with 33 fantasy points a couple weeks ago now definitely looks like a fluke. Newton has 14 and now four fantasy points since that game. Sunday, he threw for a season-worst 171 yards on 12-of-22 passing, with an interception and a lost fumble. He did rush for 24 yards, but Newton is simply not producing enough to be in fantasy lineups right now unless it's necessary.
Jonathan Stewart: The running back had his highest yardage total of the season Sunday, with 79 rushing yards on 16 carries and 15 receiving yards on three catches. With the continued injury of DeAngelo Williams and the team's other running backs largely underwhelming, Stewart has the job mostly to himself, but he's not someone worth starting.
Kelvin Benjamin: The rookie receiver continued to accumulate yardage, with 94 on four receptions and seven targets. He couldn't find the end zone Sunday, but Benjamin does have five in eight games. He's an every-week must-start.
Greg Olsen: The tight end had easily his worst game of the season Sunday, with only one catch on three targets for 16 yards. He couldn't get open against a determined Seattle defense. This was a painful game for Olsen's fantasy owners, but he remains near the top of the tight-end lists.
