The Indianapolis Colts could not figure out how to stop the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 8, falling to 5-3 after a 51-34 loss on Sunday. Andrew Luck and the Colts offense attempted to bring the game back within a single score in the fourth quarter, but it was too little, too late.
Andrew Luck, T.Y.Hilton keep rolling in fantasy despite Colts losing in Week 8
The Colts managed to put up 448 yards on offense against the Steelers. We break down the fantasy implications.

Although Indianapolis’ defense completely fell apart, its offense still posted 448 yards. Let’s take a look at the fantasy performance from the Colts in Week 8.
Andrew Luck: For the sixth week in a row Luck finished with 300-plus passing yards. He set a season-high in that category Sunday as he completed 26 of 45 passes for 400 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions. The Colts couldn’t handle the Steelers pass rush throughout the afternoon, and Luck took several big shots. But with the defense in shambles, Luck was forced to throw often in catch-up mode. Game results don’t matter in fantasy. He’s a matchup-proof QB1 every week.
Ahmad Bradshaw: With Trent Richardson out, Bradshaw rushed for 35 yards and a touchdown on six carries and caught seven passes for 52 yards. Yet again Bradshaw managed to score, giving him a touchdown in six of eight games this year. The Colts are never going to overuse the veteran running back, but he easily provides RB2 value with his versatility and red zone presence.
T.Y. Hilton: The huge numbers continue to pour in. Hilton caught six passes for 155 yards and a touchdown against the Steelers, giving him three straight games with 100-plus yards. He's on pace for over 1,700 yards in 2014. As the top target for Luck, Hilton is a WR1 with the Colts constantly passing the ball. He's a must-start next week against a New York Giants defense that ranks No. 25 in passing yards allowed per game.
Donte Moncrief: Hopefully you added him when you found out Reggie Wayne was inactive for Week 8. Moncrief broke out for 113 yards and a touchdown on seven receptions. He was targeted a team-high 12 times by Luck. Unfortunately his long-term value is capped by Wayne's ultimate return to the lineup, but Moncrief is worth stashing in deeper leagues.
