The Chicago Bears fell apart once again to fall to 3-5 after a 51-23 loss to the New England Patriots in Week 8. Marc Trestman's team trailed 38-7 at halftime and were never really in the game, letting Tom Brady and the Patriots offense dominate from the start.
Jay Cutler, Matt Forte stand out in fantasy despite Bears huge loss in Week 8
The Bears were blown out by the Patriots in Week 8, but they still managed to pick up a few garbage time touchdowns. We break down the fantasy implications.

Jay Cutler's struggles continued on Sunday, but he put together a few late touchdown drives to make his stats look better. Let's look at how the fantasy numbers turned out.
Jay Cutler: He completed 20 of 30 passes for 227 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in another deflating effort. Two of Cutler's touchdowns came in garbage time, which ultimately doesn't make a difference to fantasy owners. However, the performance was discouraging for the Bears potential going forward. They have to find some way to turn things around. Cutler faces a good matchup with the Green Bay Packers when Chicago returns from a bye in Week 10.
Matt Forte: The only consistent part of Chicago's offense, Forte rushed for 114 yards and caught six passes for 54 yards and a touchdown. He's a PPR monster and a top running back in any scoring format. Cutler may not be able to jump-start the passing game, but he'll always check down to his No. 1 running back. Forte is the top running back to own right now.
Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery: Jeffery's numbers turned out decent as he caught five passes for 59 yards and a touchdown on eight targets. Marshall only caught three of his 10 targets for 35 yards. Darrelle Revis spent a good amount of Sunday covering Jeffery, which makes Marshall's stat line look even more discouraging. Both wide receivers offer WR1 value, but they're struggling to live up to that value as the Bears offense stalls.
Martellus Bennett: The Bears No. 1 tight end led the team with 95 yards and a touchdown on six receptions. It was the first time Bennett scored since Week 3. He's seen 23 targets over the last three games. Bennett is another solid option for your TE1 in an offense that continues to underperform.
