The New Orleans Saints improved to 3-4 with a 44-23 win over the Green Bay Packers in Week 8. After setting a season-high in points scored, the Saints remain undefeated at home in 2014.
Drew Brees, Mark Ingram boost the Saints fantasy stock in Week 8 win
The Superdome always seems to bring out the best in the Saints. Week 8 was no different. We break down the fantasy implications.

Drew Brees found little resistance moving the ball on offense against the Packers defense. Let's look at the top fantasy performances from the Saints in Week 8.
Drew Brees: He completed 27 of 32 passes for 311 yards and three touchdowns. Brees was surgical at times, spreading the ball around to nine targets and connecting on a 50-yard score in the end zone to Brandin Cooks. It was Brees' fourth consecutive game with 300-plus yards and his first of the year with three touchdowns. He'll have a short turnaround when he faces the Carolina Panthers in Week 9.
Mark Ingram: The Packers couldn't slow down Ingram as he rushed for 172 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries. He capped off his night by scoring the last touchdown of the game with just minutes to play in the fourth quarter. Ingram burned fantasy owners last week with just 16 yards on 10 carries, but he looked more like the 2014 Ingram in Week 8. Ingram faces the Carolina Panthers next. He's a RB2 for most weeks, especially if Khiry Robinson is ever out of the lineup again.
Brandin Cooks: The rookie caught six passes for 94 yards and a touchdown on a team-high seven targets. Cooks burned two Packers defenders on a 50-yard score in the third quarter, showing off the speed that made him such a coveted draft pick this year. Cooks also rushed for a 4-yard touchdown in the first quarter. He’s a versatile weapon that will be flex-worthy every week. He’ll post some duds, though, due to the amount of mouths to feed in New Orleans.
Jimmy Graham: Graham came on strong in the second half, finishing Week 8 with five catches for 59 yards and a touchdown. He scored on a 22-yard pass in single coverage in the end zone. It was a vintage Graham touchdown, and fantasy owners will hope to see more of those going forward. The shoulder injury didn't seem to be a concern throughout the night, and barring a setback, his usage will continue to increase next week against the Panthers.
