It's sounding more and more like Washington quarterback Robert Griffin III won't be playing against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football. Griffin was listed as questionable coming into the game, but few expected him to play with his ankle injury. On Monday, it didn't take long for Albert Breer of the NFL Network to come out and say that Griffin won't play, and that Colt McCoy will get the start against the Cowboys.
Robert Griffin III not playing, per report; Colt McCoy doesn’t have much fantasy value as a replacement
Robert Griffin III will likely not be playing against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Griffin probably should have been declared out from the get-go, or at least listed as doubtful on the injury report. Griffin's questionable designation was supposed to denote a 50 percent chance of playing. It sounds like that was never really possible, despite his return to practice. Kirk Cousins has not been particularly good in Griffin's absence, so McCoy is getting a chance at starting.
Fantasy Impact: If you have to go with a Washington quarterback for your fantasy team (did you lose a bet?), then the way to go is McCoy. But unless you were shocked by this move, you should probably have a better option available on your fantasy team with a week to prepare. Whatever the case, Griffin is essentially out for this game.
