St. Louis Rams wide receiver Brian Quick needs shoulder surgery and is done for the season. Head coach Jeff Fisher confirmed the news in his Monday press conference.
Brian Quick to get shoulder surgery, fantasy season is over
Brian Quick’s season is over after suffering a dislocated shoulder in Week 8. We break down the fantasy implications.

Quick was forced out of St. Louis' Week 8 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs with a dislocated shoulder and torn rotator cuff. He was enjoying a minor breakout season before the injury, catching 25 passes for 375 yards and three touchdowns in seven games. The Rams will likely turn to Stedman Bailey as a starting receiver opposite Kenny Britt.
Fantasy impact: After two underwhelming seasons, Quick developed real chemistry with Austin Davis and was finally emerging as a legitimate WR3. This news is disappointing to fantasy owners who picked him off the waiver wire last month. Bailey and Britt are shaky WR4 dice rolls at best.
The Rams offense takes another hit with Quick going down, and they're also without left tackle Jake Long, who tore his ACL on Sunday. With Tre Mason, Zac Stacy and Benny Cunningham mired in a backfield committee, it's hard to recommend any fantasy starters against the San Francisco 49ers next week.
