Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo (back) is questionable for the team's Week 9 game against the Arizona Cardinals, according to ESPN's Ian Fitzsimmons.
Tony Romo questionable against Cardinals, fantasy owners can start to worry
The Cowboys quarterback took a shot to the back that caused him to leave the Week 8 game against Washington. We break down the fantasy implications.

UPDATED REPORT: Cowboys beat writer Clarence Hill reports that Romo's availability against the Cardinals will depend on his level of pain tolerance and that he could be a game-time decision. Romo was hurt after being sacked by Keenan Robinson in the third quarter of Monday's loss to Washington.
Fantasy Impact: Romo’s fantasy value has remained steady this season and he had done a great job leading the Cowboys to a 5-1 record before getting hurt.
That said, the emergence of running back DeMarco Murray as the league's hands-down No. 1 rusher this season means the Cowboys are running the ball heavily. Since the team keeps winning games, that's unlikely to change and explains why Romo is without a 300-yard passing game this season.
Although it doesn’t sound like Romo will play against the Cardinals, he does have a reputation for playing hurt, so fantasy owners would be advised to wait until later in the week before making a firm decision.
In the meantime, backup Brandon Weeden would be worth picking up as Romo's replacement. The former Cleveland Browns draft pick led the Cowboys to a field goal and a touchdown to keep the game close against Washington on Monday.
