It doesn’t sound serious, but Gio could not return to action on Sunday. He’s been pretty healthy in his career, but hip injuries can be tricky for running backs and the team definitely wouldn’t want him to aggravate it as they eye the postseason. A player sitting out of a Wednesday practice is not a big indicator and even if he sits on Thursday, it wouldn’t be a big deal.
If Bernard is out, Jeremy Hill would be very busy as the featured back. He was already seeing some time as the short-yardage guy and he's also been in the mix on some passing downs.
Fantasy impact: While Hill has to be owned across the board, it’s still very unclear what will happen with Bernard. Fantasy owners will want to check back on Friday at the latest.
