Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart is listed as doubtful for the team's game against the Chicago Bears on Sunday. Stewart suffered a knee sprain in Week 4 and missed some practice time this week. Head coach Ron Rivera said that Stewart has made good progress with the injury, but it's not looking like he'll play on Sunday against the Bears.
Jonathan Stewart has no fantasy value after doubtful designation
Jonathan Stewart is doubtful for Week 5 with a knee injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

Stewart is the primary backup to DeAngelo Williams, who will miss the game with an ankle sprain. The Panthers running back situation is one of the worst in the league, as neither Williams nor Stewart can stay healthy. Both running backs have struggled when they've gotten on the field, too. Darrin Reaves, Fozzy Whittaker and Chris Ogbonnaya will get some carries against Chicago.
Fantasy Impact: Fantasy owners should have moved on from the Panthers running game. Williams is decent when healthy but we’re probably past the point of that being a realistic notion on a week-to-week basis. Stewart falls into the same category. It’s unclear who will get the bulk of the carries between Reaves, Whittaker and Ogbonnaya, so none of them are strong options, either. Simply move on and part ways with any and all of the five.
