New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram had his first big game of the season against the Green Bay Packers in Week 8. Ingram had 24 carries, a season high, and picked up 172 yards and a touchdown. But he's carried just 58 times for 331 yards and four touchdowns on the season.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 9: Mark Ingram
Mark Ingram is looking solid and is eyeing a big matchup against an iffy Panthers run defense in Week 9. We break down the fantasy implications.

That’s due to a hand injury that forced him out of about a month of action, and the fact that the Saints were limiting his touches prior to said injury. Ingram has been part of a committee, but he showed against the Packers that he runs at his best when he gets an opportunity to build steam.
Fantasy Impact: In Week 9, Ingram and the Saints face the 3-4-1 Carolina Panthers. Ingram will have a chance for another big game against a shaky run defense: The Panthers allow 135.3 rushing yards per game on average. That ranks them at No. 28 in the league. The Saints will always try to field a versatile rushing attack, but smart money is on Ingram getting plenty of carries in this game. They'll feed him, and he should reward fantasy owners. Ingram is definitely worth a start in Week 9.
