Indianapolis Colts running back Trent Richardson was at practice with the team on Thursday, according to Mike Chappell of RTV6 ABC. Richardson has a hamstring injury and was limited prior to Week 8. He was active for that game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he wasn't used.
Trent Richardson at practice; not much fantasy value for Week 9
Trent Richardson is back at practice on Thursday. We break down the fantasy implications.

In other words, Richardson was only available as an emergency backup. But given that he's practicing on Thursday, his role is likely to increase heading into Monday's game against the New York Giants. Richardson has struggled this season, compiling 101 carries for 358 yards and two touchdowns. Ahmad Bradshaw has carried the ball 76 times for 371 yards and two touchdowns as well.
Fantasy Impact: From an injury standpoint, Richardson is fine. He wouldn’t be practicing on Thursday with a hamstring injury unless it was healed. But from a fantasy standpoint, he’s been a disappointment, and Bradshaw simply inspires more confidence at this point. Richardson’s role will likely still be significant; he’s just not a good fantasy option.
