The top tier of quarterbacks might be in play this week, but these secondary options could surpass them in the Week 5 ranks.
Fantasy football sleepers, Week 5: Quarterbacks
If you don’t have a top 5 quarterback on your roster, have no fear. These lesser used players could go toe-to-toe with your Week 5 opponent.

Ben Roethlisberger: Despite being owned in 88 percent of leagues last week, Roethlisberger was started in only 17 percent. Though there was a small uptick in both of those numbers coming into Week 5, consider this your obligatory message to avoid making the same mistake twice. As if you didn't already know, the Jacksonville Jaguars have allowed the most yards and touchdowns to opposing quarterbacks through four weeks of play. Roethlisberger should only be benched if your roster has a top-five option.
Eli Manning: Through the first two weeks, the New York Giants averaged 269 total yards of offense. New offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo remained on the chopping block despite an obvious learning curve underway. The past two weeks, however, the Giants averaged a total of 434 yards, turning the ball over only a third of what they initially coughed up during those first two games. With Manning and their running game now rolling, expect gaudy numbers against the Atlanta Falcons and their third-worst pass defense.
Austin Davis: Being named the starter earlier this week, Davis should thrive against a Philadelphia Eagles defense that has allowed the second-most yards and touchdowns to opposing quarterbacks. Consider him a high-end QB2 and outstanding daily fantasy option.
