Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jordan Matthews has been the classic example of a talented rookie with inconsistent production. He exploded onto the scene in Week 3 with an 8/59/2 line but hasn't had more than 37 yards receiving in any other game. The second-round pick has showcased some play-making ability but isn't yet in a position to be a consistent fantasy asset.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 5: Jordan Matthews is a risky Flex play
Jordan Matthews has flashed some big-play ability. Can he put it all together in Week 5?

Fantasy Impact: Matthews is stuck behind Jeremy Maclin and Riley Cooper on the depth chart, which leaves him as the the team's fourth option behind tight end Zach Ertz. While Philadelphia's offensive line was one of the league's best last year, it has regressed this season and quarterback Nick Foles has had significantly less time to get the ball out in a clean pocket. The return of offensive tackle Lane Johnson should go a long way toward helping to stabilize the unit. For the time being, Matthews can't be trusted as anything more than a high-risk/high-reward Flex option.
