Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz has lost some momentum in the last two weeks. After hauling in seven catches for 163 yards and a touchdown in his first two games, Ertz was unable to build on his production, hauling in six passes for only 57 yards without a touchdown in Weeks 3 and 4 combined. While his 16.9 YPC average makes a fine case to get him the ball more, the Eagles haven't been able to follow through.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 5: Zach Ertz is a low-ceiling TE1/Flex play
Zach Ertz has flashed some big-play ability but has struggled for consistency. Can he put it together in Week 5?

Fantasy Impact: Ertz has all of the tools and athletic ability to become an elite tight end. His issue is that he's third (at best) on the team's target totem pole and he's stuck behind Brent Celek, who's primarily used as a blocker. The return of offensive tackle Lane Johnson should help to reduce Philadelphia's need to keep its tight ends in to block, but Ertz will likely continue to struggle for targets. Owners starting Ertz need to have their expectations in check.
