Vincent Jackson caught eight passes for 144 yards in Week 5 against the New Orleans Saints. He led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with 12 targets and came up with a few big grabs with Mike Glennon under center.
Vincent Jackson finally delivers for fantasy owners
After four relatively quiet weeks, Jackson exploded with 144 yards against the Saints. We break down the fantasy implications.

Jackson hadn’t gained more than 51 yards receiving in a single game in 2014 prior to this performance. He now has back-to-back weeks with double-digit targets from Glennon.
Fantasy impact: A touchdown would’ve been a nice addition to a monster day, but owners have to be pleased with what they’re seeing from Jackson with Glennon as the starter. The duo looked more in-sync against a weaker Saints secondary.
The Bucs face the Baltimore Ravens in Week 6, which means Jackson should see Jimmy Smith in coverage often. It’s a tougher matchup, but the veteran wide receiver is seeing the kind of volume that gives him a solid floor each week. Jackson is a good WR2 with Mike Evans out of the lineup.
