Stevan Ridley rushed for 113 yards and a touchdown on 27 carries in Week 5 against the Cincinnati Bengals. He broke a 43-yard gain for his longest run of the night and consistently gained yards after contact each carry.
Stevan Ridley posts another 100-yard game for fantasy owners
Ridley saw 27 touches and was the Patriots leading rusher in Week 5. We break down the fantasy implications.

The New England Patriots change up their gameplan every week, sometimes excluding a heavy workload for Ridley. This time around, though, they heavily relied on him to carry the run game, and he proved once again he can be relied on.
Fantasy impact: Five carries for 28 yards, that’s what Ridley produced in Week 4. It’s no wonder fantasy owners get so frustrated with him on their rosters. Ridley always has the potential to break out like he did against the Bengals, but he can just as easily burn you for starting him.
Shane Vereen also ran well against the Bengals, finishing with 90 yards on nine carries. The Patriots offense looked completely rejuvenated after last week’s debacle against the Kansas City Chiefs. Ridley remains a boom-or-bust option with an unsure workload each game.
