It was a rough night on the ground for Washington running back Alfred Morris on Monday. He rushed 13 times, but totaled just 29 yards in a Week 5 loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football. Washington struggled to run the ball against a Seahawks defense giving up the fourth-fewest fantasy points to running backs. Roy Helu added two rushes for -1 yards, but did have five receptions for 59 yards. Going into Week 5, Morris was averaging 79.0 yards per game and had scored three touchdowns. Helu proved to once again be a solid receiver out of the backfield, he came in averaging 39.8 receiving yards per game and that number will go up with a good pass-catching night against Seattle.
Washington running backs struggle on Monday Night Football
Washington running back Alfred Morris carried the ball 13 times for 29 yards in the Week 5 loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football. We bring you the fantasy implications here.

Fantasy impact: Morris is a solid running back but this was a tough match up for he and Helu. Morris will continue to be a solid fantasy option while Helu is merely a desperation flex play in most leagues. Sadly, Morris isn't showing much in the passing game, which would increase his fantasy value. Morris will have another tough match in Week 6 when Washington faces the Arizona Cardinals. Arizona is giving up the fewest fantasy points to running backs.
