Miami Dolphins tight end Charles Clay has had a solid season thus far, catching 34 passes for 315 yards and two touchdowns in nine games. He probably isn't where he hoped he would be, but then again, nobody is really a standout in Miami's offense. Clay is third on the team, trailing receivers Mike Wallace (519 yards, six touchdowns) and rookie Jarvis Landry (354 yards, two touchdowns).

Miami Dolphins tight end Charles Clay has been solid if unremarkable this season. He may not be a strong fantasy option against the Bills this week.

Against the Detroit Lions in Week 10, Clay caught seven passes for 45 yards, his second-highest of the season. Obviously, those numbers don't inspire a ton of confidence, but he's been consistent at the very least. The Dolphins offense is struggling as a whole, with 222.9 passing yards per game on average, good for 20th in the league.
Fantasy Impact: Clay draws a tough matchup against the Buffalo Bills on Thursday. The Bills allow 224.6 passing yards per game on average, which ranks them seventh in the league. Tight ends as a whole seem to be under-performing outside of the top couple this year, so Clay is still a fantasy option as a TE2 or TE3. Fantasy owners shouldn't expect a big game against the Bills, however.
