Ryan Mathews will play for the San Diego Chargers in Week 11 after a nine-week absence due to a knee injury.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 11: Ryan Mathews
The Chargers will get their starting running back into their lineup once again after a lengthy absence. We break down the fantasy implications.

Mathews practiced fully all week and is expected to see a significant workload, according to beat reporter Michael Gehlken. As a result, Brandon Oliver will fall back into more of a complementary role, not unlike how Danny Woodhead was used prior to his season-ending injury.
Fantasy Spin: Though Oliver won't be the bell-cow he was in recent weeks, there is still room for fantasy wealth to trickle down to him versus a Raiders defense that's allowing the third-most fantasy points to running backs this season.
Mathews will warrant immediate RB2 consideration due to this matchup and the volume he is set to receive. For the sake of perspective, Mathews did not play during the team’s last matchup versus the Raiders, and Oliver picked up 124 total yards in his place. All indications are Mathews’ knee injury is firmly a thing of the past, and he will play with no limitations. Fantasy owners could do much worse this week.
