There has been a lot of buzz about Oakland Raiders tight end Mychal Rivera this week. After a couple months of doing nothing, he's scored three times in the past two weeks to go with averages of seven catches and 51 receiving yards. Plus, he also had seven catches for 83 yards three weeks ago.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 11: Mychal Rivera
Mychal Rivera has crept onto the fantasy radar. Should owners give him a look this week?

The strange part is that he was getting plenty of snaps even before this breakout. He's been on the field a little more in this hot stretch, playing 79.5 percent of snaps in his last three weeks. This week is going to be a bad matchup against the San Diego Chargers, who rank as the fourth-toughest matchup to fantasy tight ends. They have allowed just two scores to tight ends all season, so Rivera's owners should temper their expectations a bit.
Fantasy impact: He should be owned in just about all leagues, but there is a lot of risk here. Rivera is more of a TE14-18 in most formats.
