It's the year of the rookie receiver. Basically every receiver taken in the first round has had some sort of fantasy impact on standard leagues. Some like Carolina Panthers receiver Kelvin Benjamin started hot out of the game while guys like Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver Mike Evans has come on lately.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 11: Mike Evans
Mike Evans is showing why the Bucs drafted him in the first round. Should fantasy owners ride him while he’s hot?

In the last two weeks, Evans has scored three touchdowns to go with an average of 124.5 receiving yards and seven receptions. He’s also scored five TDs in his last six games to launch him to the No. 17 fantasy receiver in PPR leagues. If you consider he didn’t top five receptions, 53 receiving yards or didn’t score all in his first three games, you could argue he’s the hottest receiver in fantasy.
This week he’ll get a decent matchup against the Washington secondary. They are the 13th-toughest matchup to receivers on the season, but it’s been a downward trend due to the injuries in their back seven.
Fantasy impact: He’s pretty much a must-start play right now.
