Washington wide receiver Pierre Garcon hasn't been able to duplicate his success in his first year under new head coach Jay Gruden. After leading the league with 113 receptions in 2013, Garcon has only caught more than four passes in three games this year. Through nine games, Garcon has hauled in 42 passes for 458 yards and three touchdowns. Although he's had to deal with a revolving door at quarterback, including Robert Griffin III, Kirk Cousins and Colt McCoy, the main issue for Garcon is that the targets just haven't been there while DeSean Jackson is running as the team's No. 1 receiver.
Fantasy start/sit advice, Week 11: Pierre Garcon
The Washington receiver hasn’t had that much success this year. Can he step it up in Week 11?
Fantasy Impact: This week would be as good a time as any to roll the dice on Garcon. Washington will take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and their secondary, which gives up the most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. Expectations still need to be checked. Garcon is just a mediocre WR3 play.
