San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Stevie Johnson has been excellent in clutch situations, coming up with big third-down receptions and other big catches this season. The 49ers didn't give up much to get him, and he's been paying off as a reliable target for 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 11: Stevie Johnson
Stevie Johnson just might be a strong flex option against the struggling New York Giants this week.

That said, he hasn't consistently put up big numbers by any stretch of the imagination. He's had a couple big games, with 103 yards against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 3 and 79 yards and a touchdown against the Denver Broncos on Oct. 19, but he's otherwise hovering right about 40 yards per contest and he has three touchdowns on the season. In total, he has 31 receptions for 399 yards.
Fantasy Impact: As for whether or not he's worth starting in fantasy football this week ... it's a hard question to answer. Nobody can accurately predict what 49ers offense will take the field on any given Sunday, especially with Jim Harbaugh in charge. But Johnson is looking at a very favorable matchup against a New York Giants pass defense that has struggled big time this year. Johnson isn't a guarantee by any means, but he could be a strong flex option this week.
