A week after a legendarily bad performance, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton bounced back with his best fantasy day of the season Sunday. Dalton had 21 total fantasy points as the Bengals beat the New Orleans Saints, 27-10.
Fantasy football waiver wire, Week 12: Andy Dalton rebounds with decent production
The Cincinnati quarterback had his best game of the season Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Dalton had only 86 passing yards and three interceptions in Week 10, but turned everything around Sunday. He completed 16 of 22 pass attempts for 220 yards and three touchdowns and added 12 rushing yards. Dalton hit tight end Jermaine Gresham for two of the touchdowns, and connected with wide receiver A.J. Green for the third one.
Fantasy impact: Dalton had averaged 8.8 fantasy points a game over his last four, and only 12.3 per game over the season, before putting up a season-best 21 Sunday. It comes on the heels of that disaster performance that had Dalton shuttled out of most fantasy lineups, and probably off of most rosters altogether.
This performance -- good, not great, only impressive because of Dalton’s low established standards -- might be enough to get him re-added in leagues as a backup/things-go-wrong quarterback, but it’s not nearly enough to get him back into starting consideration. Dalton’s still on the outskirts.
