Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush got an extra week of rest and expects to be ready for the team's Week 12 game against the New England Patriots on Sunday.
Reggie Bush expects to play in Week 12; fantasy value still uncertain
Reggie Bush thinks he’s ready to play after sitting out Week 11. We break down the fantasy implications.

Bush aggravated his ankle injury in Week 10 and was shut down for Detroit's Week 11 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. The ankle has been bothering him for most of the season, but he believes he'll be ready to play again on Sunday. The 29-year-old has played in just seven games this year, rushing 53 times for 191 yards and a touchdown. He's added 26 catches for 169 yards.
Fantasy impact: Theo Riddick took over Bush's role as the pass-catching back in Week 11 but was largely disappointing, recording just 26 total yards on five touches. The Lions offense has been in a major slump lately, so even if Bush is healthy he'll be just a high-risk flex play against the Patriots defense. Bush hasn't scored double-digit fantasy points since Week 4 and his injury-prone body is catching up with him again. Fantasy owners shouldn't pencil him into lineups until the practice reports come out later this week.
