Detroit Lions wide receivers Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate should draw Brandon Browner and Darrelle Revis in coverage respectively, according to Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald. The two receivers combined for just 7 catches and 100 yards total against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 11.
Calvin Johnson, Golden Tate to see tight coverage against Pats, fantasy value still high
The Lions’ top two receiving options are in for a challenging Week 12. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Megatron is arguably the best receiver in the NFL, but he and Tate were up against a very good secondary unit in Arizona last week. While Tate can sometimes be quiet depending on his matchup, Johnson is a must-start fantasy player no matter who’s lining up across from him.
That's why it makes complete sense that the Patriots would want to put Browner on Johnson. Darrelle Revis is a little bit past his prime and a step slower than he used to be. Either way, both cornerbacks are still considered very solid in terms of their ability to cover the other team's best pass catchers.
Fantasy owners should still start both Johnson and Tate, but it wouldn’t be a complete surprise to see them both post mediocre numbers for the second week in a row against the Patriots in Week 12.
