Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson (elbow, ankle) was held out of practice on Wednesday, according to Rotoworld.com. Johnson's ailments aren't expected to hold him back from starting against the New England Patriots in Week 12.
Calvin Johnson sits out practice Wednesday, still automatic fantasy starter for Sunday
The Lions’ star receiver sat out practice on Wednesday to tend to multiple injuries. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Johnson was held to just 59 yards receiving on five catches against the Arizona Cardinals last week, but the Cardinals have a great secondary unit, so even with an ankle that's been bothering Megatron for weeks and a newly discovered elbow injury, there is nothing to worry about here.
Johnson could be in for another tough day against the Patriots, however, a team that boasts both Brandon Browner and Darrelle Revis in its secondary personnel.
Regardless, fantasy owners should obviously start Johnson anyway as he’s just as good at catching the ball as any cornerback in the league is at covering a receiver. If the game in New England happens to be high-scoring, Johnson will no doubt stand to produce some big numbers this week.
