Oakland Raiders running back Latavius Murray might be getting more action down the stretch. ESPN's Adam Caplan reports that Murray got more work than usual at practice this week and could be splitting carries with Darren McFadden in Thursday's Week 12 game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Latavius Murray could have bigger role with Raiders, has fantasy upside
The Raiders might be giving rookie Latavius Murray a longer look on Thursday night. We break down the fantasy implications.

Murray has been mostly riding the bench in his rookie season while the Raiders went with plodding veterans McFadden and Maurice Jones-Drew. He finally got his first big chance against the San Diego Chargers in Week 11, recording 59 total yards on seven touches and leading the backfield in snaps played.
Fantasy impact: The 0-10 Raiders are already eliminated from playoff contention and are finally starting to turn to their young players as they hope to avoid 0-16 infamy. Murray showed a bigger spark in his limited carries than either of the two veterans ahead of him on the depth chart. He could end up running with the starting job if he shows well on Thursday night. Murray is worth picking up in 12-team leagues and is a solid dynasty stash.
