The Minnesota Vikings have finally come to the realization that they're in a rebuilding year. Running back Matt Asiata was the featured back earlier this season, but the Vikings have since switched over to rookie Jerick McKinnon and it looks like a good move.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 9: Jerick McKinnon
Jerick McKinnon is the featured back in a weak offense. Should fantasy owners still trust the volume over the touchdowns?

In his previous three games, McKinnon has averaged 17.7 touches per while Asiata has just six, and a woeful 1.7 yards-per-carry average. It’s pretty clear the Vikings won’t be going back and it’ll be McKinnon the rest of the way.
This week, the Vikings draw a subpar matchup against Washington, who’s only allowed one rushing touchdown to running backs and has kept opposing backs under 100 yards in all but three games this season. Washington does have a lot of injuries, however, and its defense has been trending down.
Fantasy impact: McKinnon is a featured back and the Vikings aren’t a terrible team at running the ball. He’s a solid RB2 this week.
