Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans has been the model of consistency throughout his rookie year. Evans has caught exactly four passes in five of his six games played, and he caught five in the leftover game. Last week put an end to his two-week streak of catching a touchdown, but he still finished with a solid 78 receiving yards. Owners were hoping that fellow Bucs wide receiver Vincent Jackson would get traded, increasing Evans' value. This didn't wind up happening, but the arrow is still pointing up on the first-round pick, and he's proven to be a reliable starting option on whom owners can depend for production.
Fantasy start/sit advice, Week 9: Mike Evans a low-risk play
The Buccaneers wideout has shown remarkable consistency for a rookie. Can he keep it up in Week 9?

Fantasy Impact: Evans should be able to find plenty of holes in a Cleveland Browns secondary that gives up the 14th-most fantasy points to opposing receivers. Shutdown cornerback Joe Haden will likely shadow Jackson, which will leave Evans with more favorable matchups. There aren't many defenders who can match his 6'5" frame to begin with. Evans is locked in as a mid-ceiling WR3 start.
