Arizona Cardinals running back Andre Ellington (foot) is listed as probable and will suit up in Week 9. The second year back hasn't been too productive on a per carry basis averaging just 3.6 YPC. However, his versatility allows him to rack up the yards. Ellington has accounted for at least 75 total yards in every single game played this year. While there's certainly room for improvement on his per-carry production, Ellington's volume of carries has been trending up the entire season. In the first two weeks, he averaged 14 carries per game. The figure crept up to 17.67 in the next three contests. In the two most recent weeks, he's ran the ball 23.5 times per game. There's more than enough volume here to keep his production going.
Fantasy start/sit advice, Week 9: Andre Ellington is a fine start
Andre Ellington hasn’t been able translate his feature back status into elite production. Can he step it up in Week 9?

Fantasy Impact: Ellington's matchup with the Dallas Cowboys is actually a tougher one than most realize. While Big D does give up a 4.8 YPC, they allow the eighth fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs. Ellington remains a back-end RB1 and should be started in all formats.
