Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten has been a low-ceiling play throughout the season. He's currently on pace to finish the season with 56 catches for 672 yards and four touchdowns. The catches and yards totals would be the lowest of his 14-year career since his rookie season. While many will attribute Witten's declining numbers to his age, it's interesting to note that the 12 YPC he's put up this year is actually the highest of his career. Witten has found a way to pick up the pace in recent weeks as the two touchdowns he's scored all year have come over the last three weeks.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 9: Jason Witten remains a low-upside play
Jason Witten isn’t having his best year. Can he pick up the pace in Week 9?

Fantasy Impact: Witten doesn't have to worry about an elite defense this week -- the Arizona Cardinals give up the 14th most fantasy points to opposing tight ends. While he can no longer be counted on as a top-five tight end, Witten remains a serviceable start as a back-end TE1.
