Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz remains in the high-talent, low-opportunity boat. He has all of the physical tools to become a top-five tight end in fantasy as well as on the field. What's holding him back is the fact that he's stuck on the depth chart behind Brent Celek, who remains the superior blocker. Ertz hasn't had more than 48 yards receiving since Week 2 and has only found the end zone twice all year.
Fantasy start/sit advice, Week 9: Zach Ertz remains a risky TE play
Zach Ertz hasn’t been able to do much on limited playing time. Will the Eagles give him more looks in Week 9?

Fantasy Impact: While Ertz would love to be more heavily involved in the offense, there is little reason to believe that his chance will come this week. The Eagles will have their hands full with the Houston Texans and their intimidating front seven that features J.J. Watt as well as first overall pick Jadeveon Clowney. The unit already gives up the eighth fewest points to opposing tight ends. When you factor in that they'll have to keep Celek on the field even more to help out with the blocking, Ertz does not make for a strong start this week. He's a low-upside TE2.
