Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce hasn't yet been able to fulfill his potential in his limited role. The rookie has shown some big-play ability, but he doesn't see enough targets to translate his skills into elite production. He's stuck behind Anthony Fasano on the depth chart, which has resulted in only one game with more than four receptions for Kelce. He's on pace for 64 receptions on the year, which simply isn't enough volume to allow him to achieve the high-end numbers that he's capable of. The Chiefs would be wise to get him the ball more, but his status won't change until that happens.
Fantasy start/sit advice, Week 9: Travis Kelce makes for a solid start
The Chiefs tight end has been a hit or miss play this season. Can he put it together in Week 9?

Fantasy Impact: This would be as good of a week as any to take a chance on Kelce, as the New York Jets have given up the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends. He's a much better play in standard leagues than in PPR formats, as the Jets have given up seven touchdowns over the last two weeks. Kelce remains a back-end TE1.
